  Our School: Govt.Lower Syari Sec.School was established in the year 1975 as a primary school in Middle Syari in a small rented room with Mrs.Regina Lepcha as Headmistress. Later in the year 1991, it was upgraded to Junior High School and shifted to its present location at Lower Syari with Mr. Durga Sharma as HM. In the year 2004, it was again upgraded to secondary school with Mrs.Anumala as Headmistress for a short period of time then Mr.M.K Pradhan took up the charges  as HM of Govt.Lower Syari Sec.School.
